Turbocharge your engine cooling with the Davies Craig EWP®140 alloy Electric Water Pump. Like all the EWPs, this unit is designed for universal engine fitment, to satisfy those larger and higher horsepower, turbocharged, supercharged and ‘worked’ engines which develop excessive heat.

The EWP®140 configuration mirrors the highly successful EWP®80 which offers a numerous selection of attachment options, including elbow and straight adaptors which can be bolted on to both the inlet and outlet for simple remote engine mounting.

The EWP®140 will be supplied with one each of the 38mm (1½”) straight and elbow alloy adaptors, ‘O’ rings and mounting hardware.

This rugged alloy hi-flow electric water pump is designed to complement or replace the engine’s existing mechanical water pump. This essential performance product increases power to your vehicle’s drive wheels and improves coolant temperature control. By removing the parasitic power losses of belt-driven water pumps, the EWP®140 releases up to 10kW (13hp) of extra power, increased torque and fuel savings. Our EWP range are also extensively used in Intercooler applications.

Electric Water Pump Comparison chart

EWP80
Most small- and medium sized car engines, up to around 2.5 litres/200HP. The EWP80 is the most flexible pump in terms of mounting configurations.
EWP115
For higher power and tuned engines in the 200-350HP range. Available with either glass-filled nylon or alloy body. The performance of the two pumps is identical, but the alloy pump can be hard mounted and so is more suitable for rough treatment eg in rally cars.
EWP130
Suitable for most engines up to around 400bhp, particularly where space is tight, as it shares the EWP80’s flexibility in mounting configurations.
EWP150
Suits very high powered engines, race cars, very hard-working 4x4s, many commercial vehicles etc. All EWP150s have alloy bodies.
