The Hydra-Cool® transmission oil cooler is an effective & economical way to keep the transmission at its optimum operating temperature. High efficiency turbulators in each tube direct the fluid for superior heat transfer.

Enhance your automatic transmission cooling capabilities with the 23-plate Hydra-Cool® coupled with the 8” Thermatic Electric Fan 24 volt. Greater mounting flexibility with this combo pack enables you to further control and direct air flow through the Hydra Cool core. Plus, the 8” reverse polarity Thermatic Electric Fan can be attached to this core to operate in either ‘push’ or ‘pull’ mode.

To manage the Thermatic® fan on the oil cooler we recommend our digital Thermatic® Fan Switch; part number 0444. It senses air temperature as it passes through the radiator with the sensor placed in the radiator fin section so no need to cut hoses. It has an adjustable temperature range of 40ºC to 110ºC (104ºF to 230ºF) and can show Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Temp is set by pressing the set button.
